Jilly Bond is an Advanced Practice pelvic health Physiotherapist, researcher, and educator dedicated to transforming the treatment of persistent pelvic pain. As co-founder of the UK Pelvic Pain Network, she works to improve patient care through clinical practice, research, and education.
Jilly spent nearly a decade in the NHS before leading a private hospital pelvic health service and moving into research. After completing her MSc in 2017, focusing on physiotherapy treatment for bladder pain syndrome, she began teaching postgraduate courses internationally.
Currently pursuing a PhD at Brunel University London and the University of South Australia, Jilly’s research explores sensorimotor distortion in pelvic pain to uncover new insights and treatments. She collaborates on international projects, is currently working to enhance pelvic pain care for children and teaches on the Brunel University Allied Health Professions (AHP) pelvic health master’s program.
A former executive board member of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP), Jilly currently sits on the British Urogynaecology Society AHP committee. Based in Cardiff, she balances clinical work with mentoring and consultancy, committed to translating research into practice and equipping physiotherapists with the skills to deliver cutting-edge, evidence-based care.
